Our History
A team of 14 like minded and passionate young professionals came together in 2009 to form an online community where they could sharpen each other's skills based on their experiences in life and work. At first the platfrom was exclusive to just sharing ideas but it quickly grew to something bigger than the participants having a reach of over 1,000 participants Nation wide. The (Dream Team) as they referred to themselves facilitated the development of the programs that the organization would be involved in response to the needs of the members. The efforts of the dream team led to the registration of a Community based organization, League Of Young Professionals Kenya (LYP Kenya). LYP Kenya began operation in February 2009.

LYP Foundation
The League of Young Professionals is committed to education; we believe that when you educate, you empower. It is with the appreciation of this fact that we formed the LYP foundation to champion for the education of bright, talented and needy high school students in our community.
The LYP Foundation is sponsored by our members who extend their little grants towards the school fees of children who are mostly orphaned or from single family homes with no hope of acquiring high school education even after passing their KCPE exams with very good grades. The funds collected are 100% used in the school fees program, administration is done on a voluntary basis by the trustees who give their time for this worthy initiative.
