Community service is one of the ways which encourages us young professionals to offer service to our communities. Every LYP club and every LYP Member assumes a responsibility to find ways to improve the quality of life for those in our communities and to serve the public interest.
Since Inception, LYP has undertaken the following projects:
- April 11, 2009 Food Donation, Mji wa Huruma Children’s Home
- March 6, 2010 Visit to Children cancer ward 1E at Kenyatta National Hospital
- July 31, 2010 Mentoring students at Palmhouse Foundation
- October 2, 2010 Cleaning and Painting Melchizedek Hospital in Kawangware Slums
- October 2, 2010 Food Donation to Tom Mboya School for the Disabled – Mombasa
- July 31, 2010 Chairs Donation to Tom Mboya School for the Disabled – Mombasa
- November 13, 2010 MSA Shanzu food donation
- Dec 11, 2010 Early Christmas for Good Samaritan Children’s home Mathare
- February 5th 2011 Kwale prison’s donation of footwear to the inmates
- February 2011 Sponsored a needy and bright Child go to Lenana High School
- July 23, 2011 Food donation to Likoni Orphanage
